Cutting Out Politics Around Water

Alyson Huber fought to give the Delta Region a voice in the recent water debate and opposed the $11 billion water bond that was loaded with pork projects.

She opposes Governor Schwarzenegger’s plans to build a peripheral canal that would ship more of our water to Southern California and has called for an independent fiscal analysis so we know the true cost of any projects. She has also called for additional oversight and audits on water project to ensure that our tax dollars are not being wasted.
