For Immediate Release
October 12, 2010

RANCHO CORDOVA - Alyson Huber is proud to announce support from the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP), representing more than 13,000 active and retired CHP officers, in her race for the 10th Assembly District.

"Alyson is a longtime advocate of public safety. She understands that ensuring our families’ safety is important," said CAHP President Rob Nelson. "We are proud to endorse Alyson for State Assembly, and we know she is committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe and protecting our streets."

The California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP) is an association that works to improve working conditions for California Highway Patrol officers. Ninety-nine percent of CHP officers elect to become CAHP members. The CAHP represents approximately 8,500 active and 5,200 retired California Highway Patrolmen. They are one of the few labor organizations that continue to represent members throughout their retirement. For more information, please visit www.thecahp.org.
