Dear Friend,
As you know, I have been fighting for small businesses in the Assembly. Working with the local Dart Container Company in Lodi we stopped job killing regulations and saved 500 jobs. My legislation to begin regular reviews of state boards and commission will streamline government and make it easier for small businesses to grow and thrive.
For my efforts, I have been recognized by the California Small Business Association and California Small Business Roundtable as their "Legislator of the Year."
I am honored to receive this award. It truly means so much because fighting for small businesses is so critical to economic recovery and job creation.
I am also proud to have the support of the National Federation of Independent Business, Rancho Cordova Chamber PAC and Sacramento County Farm Bureau.
On November 2nd, I would be honored to have your support.
Sincerely,
Alyson L. Huber
California Small Business Association:
"In her first term in the Assembly, Alyson Huber fought to protect small businesses. She cut government waste and eliminated bloated state boards. She also worked with Republicans to begin regular reviews of state boards, commissions and agencies. This is the kind of long term reform that California needs. We urge you to support Alyson Huber for Assembly."National Federation of Independent Business:
"Assemblymember Alyson Huber has earned our endorsement. She made one promise when she was elected - to cut through the politics. She has kept that promise. She has fought government waste, cut regulations to save local jobs, called for more disclosure of the salaries of elected officials and even eliminated bloated state boards. On November 2 - join us and support Alyson Huber for State Assembly."Lodi Chamber of Commerce:
"Alyson Huber, in the Chamber’s opinion, has served this district well. According to the California Chamber she has a 78% record of voting for business. Side-by-side Alyson is on offense in terms of looking for solutions to solve the quagmire of problems facing California and a willingness to ‘put it all on the table’ to find solutions. She has also worked well ‘across the aisle’ as a moderate Democrat."
